New Buy

I have been eyeing this product for a little bit now and thanks, once again lol, to Age In Atl I went out and bought a jar, 2.99 for this 24oz jar, such a great deal. I have been having the hardest time getting the top part of my hair to lay down when I put it in a bun. I absolutely cannot stand the puffiness in that area. After seeing how nicely this laid Age's hair down I had to go get it and pray that it works for me. Buns have been my go to style and need them to look a hell of a lot better than they have been. I'll post an update on how this works with my buns next.

Have been tried the Eco Styler Gel? How is it working out for you?

Just A Couple of New Things

First up Razzberry Coconut Affair Super Creamy Conditioner from Silk Dreams. I have wanted this conditioner since I first heard about it on the Silk Dreams Love Affair group on Hairlista. Apparently some lucky ladies on Long Hair Care Forum were able to try out the conditioner befe it was released and there was some really good feedback about it. So of course when it became available on the site I had to place my order for that a few other things I was running low on. Here is some information on it via the website:

Ingredients:
Ingredients: Water, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Milk, Stearalkonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Oryza sativa (Rice Bran) Oil, Agave Americana (Agave) nectar, Cetyl Alcohol, Prunus persica(Peach) Kernel Oil, Germall Plus, Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) Powder, Camellia sinensis (Green Tea) Extract, Fragrance

Description:
Luscious and ultra creamy Razzberry Coconut Affair conditions, moisturizes, and smooths medium to thick hair; not recommended for fine hair.

PLEASE NOTE: This product contains real raspberries in the form of 100% pure raspberry powder, so you may notice a few fuschia specks throughout your product.

Next up L'OREALTotal Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm. As posted on the deep conditioning challenge page in Hairlista, I broke down and purchased this conditioner and I blame Jeni from Just Grow Already, Age in Atl, and CTKimmy on You Tube for this.

I have used each of these conditioners once but will use them a few more times before I write my reviews.

This Is Not A Game People

I think I might have overdone it but I don't care. I am not chancing running out of this marvelous conditioner anytime soon. Since the dreaded formula change. Whenever I see the old formula bottles I've been picking them up. I've managed to get 7 bottles so far. One of the bottles int he picture is the one I have been using. I will be really pissed if my hair decides it doesn't like this conditioner again after buying so many. lol

Have you been able to find the older bottles for your stash?

No More Google Reader... On to Blog Lovin

So apparently there is no more Google Reader after today. After seeing Jen and Age in ATL make the switch to Blog Lovin, I decided to give it a shot. So please go ahead and follow me on there. Hit the button on the right please!

2013 Summer Hair Plans

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Now that summer is officially upon us, I notice that some people switch their regimens up during this time. I don't plan on doing anything different with my hair as far as my regimen goes. I don't change my regimen with the seasons but I will be enjoying my hair a bit more this summer especially since July is family reunion month for me and bunning is out of the question.

July Plans:
As I stated July is family reunion month and the South will be seeing me a lot. I will be going to the shop about twice during the month. First visit will be this week. My wonderful cousin/stylist is back to work.  YAY! I'm thinking that since I will be headed down South that I will have her braid the top portion of my hair and leave the back down to show off some length. That way my hair isn't in my face.

In between visits, I will still be deep conditioning 2x a week, not using heat,   and bunning.

August Plan:
Is my birthday month, Virgos Rule lol, and I will be touching up my color. Making sure that my hair stays moisturized and keeping up with protein treatments is what I do after highlighting my hair. Check out the post I have on that topic for more details.

There you have it. They're isn't too much that I will be doing.

What are your summer hair plans?

TRESsemme Naturals Ingredients and Packaging Changes

I was browsing through the Hairlista hashtag page on Instagram and came across a picture showing a slightly different bottle and different ingredients for the TRESsemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner. So I took a ride over to Walmart and sure enough there were 3 bottles of the new formula sitting on the shelf.

New Bottle
New Ingredients

Old Ingredients

I'm a bit skeptical about trying the new formula because my hair just started liking this conditioner again. So I snatched up the last three bottles of the old formula. lol If you all try out the new formula, let me know what you think of it. I still don't understand why companies change the formulas of good products. As the saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Blog Help

I have had two comments not show up on blog posts but I get the email notification? How can I fix it?
