Finally Found My Staples

Finally, I have found the products that I can consider my staple products. I decided that I will mainly use 2 product lines. One that can be found on the ground and the other I will have to order online. Keep reading to see who made the cut.

Clarifyng Shampoos:
Hydrathermal Naturals Herbal/Amino Clarifying Shampoo
Shea Moisture Strengthen Grow and Restore Shampoo

Moisturizing Shampoo:
Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Boosting Shampoo
Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo

Cleansing Conditioner:
Creme of Nature w/ Argan Oil Pure-Licious Co-Wash

Wash Out Conditioners:
Shea Moisture 10-In-1 Renewal System Condish
Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Creme Rinse

These conditioners are great for pre-pooing and adding moisture after a shampoo session

Deep Conditioners:
Hydrathermal Natural:
Amino Plus Protein Deep Conditioning Treatment & Moisture Boosting Deep Conditioning Treatment

Shea Moisture Hair Masques from
10-in-1 Renewal System, JBCO Strengthen Grow and Restore line and the Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless line

Leave-In:
Shea Moisture Strengthen Grow and Restore Leave-In Conditioner

Honorable Mention:
After how my hair is feeling right now I think the Soultanicles HerShea Sauce Knot Boss will be used as well.

Gel:
As I Am Smoothing Gel does a great job of helping me achieve a smooth bun. (now that I have a proper technique)

I have tried time and time again to kick my hair product habit. It'll work for a bit then come back with a vengeance. Although I am good at saving money, despite buying products a lot, I want to buy a car in the very near future and my budget does not call for anymore new products. I will only be repurchasing staple products. I am so glad that Shea Moisture stepped their game up with these new products. That allows me easy access to products right when I need them. I just need them to drop the exclusivity they have with Ulta on the Weightless line and I'll be even happier. I will still be using and purchasing Hydratherma Naturals because that is one quality product line there. The bonus is that their products are geared toward keeping the moisture/protein balance in your hair.

There is one product line that I will definitely be revisiting; Shi-Naturals. My product curiosity has caused my to stray from my very first favorite product line. I will try them again to see how great they work on my soon to be fully natural hair. I'm so excited to do so. I'll mainly use my 3 favorite deep conditioners from her line; the moisture balance, protein balance and coconut creme conditioners. Her products never fail me. The packaging is simple and the products deliver great results. You can check one of my very first posts for more information on Shi-Naturals.

Have you found your staples yet.

  2. Girl, I WISH that I could just use 2 product lines! If i had to pick two lines that i have the most products from, i would say Shea Moisture and Soultanicals. I remember how much you loved the Shi-natural line. Do you still use any Silk Dreams?

    1. Nope. I haven't used Silk Dreams in awhile. I still have some deep conditioners laying around. They have to be about a year and half old now. I know it's sad to say. Lol
