Product Comebacks

Ever have a "why did I stop using this product" moment? I am this moment yet again. The first was with the Shi-Naturals Creamy Leave-in. For reasons I can't remember but more than likely due to that damn product junkie syndrome, I stopped using it. Then sometime last year, I picked it up again and haven't looked back. It is my Holy Grail moisturizer. Now the Shi-Naturals Moisture and Protein Balance Leave-ins have been revisited.

Protein/Moisture





I originally bought these back in 2011 to keep my hair moisturized during my 2 stint with sew-ins. I lasted 6 weeks with that sew-in. So these got pushed to the side and I didn't look back. I decided to use it to moisten my hair again after letting my hair dry a little more than I wanted to before detangling it. I loved it. Paired with my usual detangling products my hair had a bit more slip. I've been alternating using them to moisturize my nape, hairline, and edges. Again, I am loving it. 

This is a liquid leave-in but it has a nice thick consistency but it goes on really nice, doesn't weigh the hair done at all, and moisturizes nicely.

Ingredients:
Moisture Balance:

(Organic Aloe) Juice, (Organic Lavender) Distillate, Anthemis nobilis (Organic Roman Chamomile) Distillate, Cetearyl Alcohol, (Castor Seed) Oil,(Panthenol Vitamin B5), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Rosa mosqueta (Rosehip) Seed Oil,(Organic Black Willow Bark) Extract, xanthan gum, natural preservative
pH: 4.0 - 6.0
Protein Balance:
Organic Aloe Juice, Organic Lavender Distillate, Organic Roman Chamomile Distillate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Castor Seed Oil, Organic Green Tea Extract, Organic Nettle Leaf Extract, Organic Chickweed) Extract, Organic Slippery Elm) Extract, Organic Milk Thistle Extract, Organic Marshmallow Root Extract, Organic Oatstraw Extract, Blue Green Algae, Hydrolized Wheat, Panthenol Vitamin B5), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Rosa mosqueta (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Organic Black Willow Bark Extract, (Vitamin E), xanthan gum, natural preservative

    I have a collection of products that are in the back of my stash looking lonely. I can't quite remember why I stopped using them---but I'm sure that its with good reason. Ha-ha! I called myself trying to use up of the products from back there and---well---it was a TERRIBLE decision.

    So glad that it worked out for you! That leave-in looks like a winner!

      Thank KLP! I haven't had a bad experience using Shi-Naturals products. I'm glad I went back to using them.

    For me, it was EVCO. I stopped using it a couple of years ago and I just cannot remember why. I decided to revisit it again and me and EVCO have been married ever since! I will never let it go again!

      I stopped using EVCO too. I might have to go back and try it out again over the summer.
